Monitor and assist projects throughout solution delivery lifecycle while insuring operations are within established guidelines and procedures. Provide on-boarding training to new analyst regarding system protocols and procedures. Properly document troubleshooting and resolution steps from field support teams regarding production issues in turnover log daily.

Preserve integrity of all hardware, product platforms as well as initiate standalone batch jobs, independent and group applications and complete system daily checkout to achieve overall client satisfactions. Ensure timely & efficient processing of production requests through the systems, including online, batch & standalone systems. Proactively monitor and troubleshoot MVS systems and CICS on-lines (over 100 regions). Performing IPL’s - Initial Program Load (image resets and POR) via Hardware Management Console (HMC), and other console functions to ensure 100% uptime in a 24/7 environment. Decision-maker for system re-boots during scheduled or unscheduled outages and IPL’s. Automated manual reports to meet Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) which increased departmental productivity. Assist and mentor less experienced operators with incident resolution tactics in order to restore operations. Create and document problem tickets for tracking, escalating to specialized support staff when necessary.
