I served in the U.S Army from 2013 to 2016 in the 82nd Airborne Division, making E-4 Specialist rank before earning an Honorable Discharge. During my service I worked and trained as an Automated Logistical Specialist and cross trained as a Mechanic. After leaving the military I began working for Advance Auto Parts as a Retail Parts Pro from August 2016 to July 2017 . This position included training associates, overseeing the sales floor and back room inventory, resets and planograms, and customer service for both commercial and walk-in customers. In July 2017 I was offered a Service Manager position for Wal-Mart Tire Lube Express. This position included supervising tire and lube technicians. Develop schedules for the 15+ technicians. Run quality control on all customer vehicles before, during and after services. Perform tire and lube services on customer vehicles. Maintain and service all equipment, including vehicle lifts, tire balancer/changer, air tools, and more. Complete inventory on oil, oil filters, tires, and all other supplies. Handle all customer concerns and damage claims. In August 2018 I become a full-time student at Ivy Tech Community College. I completed my Associates Degree in Automotive Technology in 2020 and began working towards an Associates Degree in Industrial Technology for welding. In 2021 I earned my American Welding Society certificates in GTAW (TIG) and GMAW (MIG). I am currently employed at Autocar Trucks in Hagerstown, IN as a Dyno Operator.
