I was the entrepreneur that started this company. The company's name was derived from my actual middle name. Through organic growth and acquisition it grew in turnover to £90+ with 6000 employees worldwide .TFG (holding company Monitane Holdings ) built factories in Sri Lanka and Bangladesh that are still prospering today. I left the group in 2014, proud of our achievements, both in the UK marketplace and especially in the Sri Lankan and Bangladesh environment .

I started as a management trainee in this entrepreneurial clothing manufacturer. I had a two year induction into the industry, which became a strong platform for my later success. despite having no product training I found a niche in this area .I believed that product success in fashion, particularly emanated from the fabric used.The fabrics handle, colour ,weight and drape and ,of course print design was key to the sales success of the eventual style. I had great success in finding ,even creating, a number of fabrics that became massive sellers in Marks & Spencer including one , for which, I was personally congratulated by the deputy Chairman of M&S for achieving £500m of sales .I went on to lead the ladies wear division to a turnover of over £100m in 1995.
