Managed various functional groups, including precision mechanical, EE hardware design, servo design and firmware development. Managed projects developing nanometer resolution XY stages, innovative autofocus systems, servo electronics platforms, active isolation systems, high power optical systems. Drove corporate-wide servomechanism and stage design collaboration. Drove key technical decisions on many precision mechanical, servo, control/structure interaction and thermal control/design projects by performing relevant simulations. Managed groups of up to 25 engineers.

Designed precision servomechanisms including multiple high precision steering mirrors. Analyzed servomechanisms, designed control algorithms. Managed precision mechanical group varying from 5 to 15 members. Lead multiple projects dealing with high bandwidth beam stabilization.

Developed precision aerospace mechanisms used in solid rocket boosters designed to lift payloads from the Space Shuttle to synchronous orbit. Responsible for key mechanisms in an extendible exit cone system. Designed, analyzed and tested mechanisms, drove acceptance and qualification testing of entire system.
