Current• Manage budget cost to maintain equipment at a minimal cost to keep operational. Result: Had a budget of $100,000 each year to operate and end the year +/- 10%. Kept cost under budget. Would utilize other stations parts inventory to help minimize cost. Minimized overtime by having associates complete maintenance and troubleshoot. Had 3 Cooper Bessemer 10 cylinders 250 HP to compress Natural Gas. Kept small inventory of parts to keep cost down, checked each year, charged back to station, and depreciated each year. Installation of new equipment required a job plan, work was scheduled, material and man hours calculated to keep with work order in budget.• Comply with DOT and FERC paperwork; to be completed within date restraints. Result: DOT and FERC have specific guidelines that have to be met to keep from getting violations. DOT requires gas leak surveys to be completed in 12 months not to exceed 15 months. To accomplish this task, work orders are processed in SAP, accepted, and have a due date when to be completed. If work order was not completed during this time, the company has the potential to be fined for failure to complete. FERC is a federal oversight which has specific guidelines for natural gas that have to be complied with per their rules. DOT and FERC periodically change and have to stay within compliance.• Train new employees on company policies and job duties. Result: Train new employees in measurement per AGA 3 guidelines. This requires new employees to be familiar with AGA 3 and with company’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to know how to perform task in a safe and professional manner. Requires new installations of EFM’s, GC’s, H2O and H2S analyzers and troubleshooting of equipment to be able to become a stand alone Technician.
