• Dec 2008- Dec 2011: Developed and delivered aircraft unique data for logistical support of manufacturing, test sites, and fielded F-35 aircraft. Lead coordination of Aircraft Data Load across avionics and vehicle systems. These are the files that are unique to each airframe that are necessary to provide proper flying qualities, and targeting accuracy. • July 2007-Dec 2008 Lead the early integration of targeted functionality for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter. As part of the Chief Engineer’s Office I worked with the SW, Labs, and test IPTs to perform early integration of F-35 capability. Including coordination with the Cooperative Avionics Test Bed, our Boeing 737 test platform. • Mar 2002-July2007 Senior Manager of the F-35 software Data fusion and Navigation fusion team. Supervision of 60 team members. IPT lead for the software that performs sensor management (Radar, EOTS, DAS, EW (including high gain functions), and CNI) and data fusion for the F-35. The Navigation fusion function used data gathered from the INS, GPS, Earth Model and sensor fixtaking. I managed a program level risk, and was responsible for the fusion algorithm development, and it’s implementation into Software. I had cost and schedule responsibility for a 120 month/120 million dollar development effort. I performed monthly SPI/CPI analysis and developed return to green plans• Nov 2000- Mar 2002 Manager of the F-16 General Avionics Computer, responsible for the development of software for the USAF and Foreign Military Sales of the F-16 multirole fighter. Supervision of 99 team members. My team was responsible for software maintenance and new capability development for 14 USAF and Foreign Military Sales versions of the General Avionics Computer (GAC) used for sensor management and weapon delivery algorithms. The GAC is programmed in JOVIAL. My team also included the navigation and weapon delivery algorithm developers for all fighter aircraft developed by Lockheed Martin.

Co-op Engineering working half time while obtaining a BSEE from University of Tennessee. I developed analog circuitry to control the temperature of a black body used to calibrate the SILTS infrared sensor on the space shuttle. I also developed real time embedded software for a Z80 microprocessor using assembly language.
