• Manages a specific geographic territory by identifying and developing relationships with qualified prospective students, their families, high school counselors, teachers, principals, and alumni resulting in increased numbers of qualified students enrolling at Drury University from the territory. This includes strategic planning and market research for the recruitment region, in accordance with the University’s strategic planning objectives and academic requirements. Anticipates and evaluates competitive educational opportunities and distinguishes Drury’s opportunities from its competitors. • Using personalized communication techniques, advises prospective students, parents, and high school counselors on academic and co-curricular opportunities at Drury University. • Plans, manages, and executes all Admission-related travel programs for the designated territory, including phone, postal, and e-communication strategies, visits to high schools, college fairs, information sessions, alumni/parent activities, and Summer Send-offs. Provides the primary contact to constituents in the designated territory on behalf of the University. • Evaluates academic and personal achievements of applicants for admission to determine admissibility to the University; evaluates candidates for scholarship programs; regularly and customarily uses discretion and independent judgment to make decisions on admissibility or denial of candidates and other matters of significance; recommends funding levels for scholarship candidates; participates in the final admission decision process in consultation with the Dean of Admission for candidates from the counselor’s territory. • Participates in the development, planning and execution of the on-campus admission and scholarship programs such as college visit days, departmental events and weekend recruiting events throughout the year.

• Responsible for monthly billings including sending invoices and statements, monitoring accounts receivable aging, and answering client billing questions and/or complaints.• Maintains all social media content including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, blog and website.• Manages the human resource department ensuring each employee has all applicable completed forms on file, maintains employee schedules and time-sheets, monitors employee certifications, holds employees accountable for CPE plan, responds to employee HR complaints, and stays well-informed regarding current regulations for the firm to be in compliance within the field of human resources.• Administers IT maintenance schedule to ensure all computers are updated in accordance with firm policy.• Manages tax season programs including goal updates, wellness programs, meals and others.• Oversees project management system to ensure jobs are completed timely and system is up-to-date with current project details.• Maintains various databases for firm monitoring and growth.• Supervises and coordinates overall administrative activities for the office.

The Academic Advising position at Drury focuses on providing all students access to quality advising, regardless of their field of study. The position also includes working with incoming transfer, freshmen, and international students. A new component of the position is teaching a one semester, orientation-style class to all new transfer students.Other duties include data collection and analysis on incoming student cohorts and assessing student needs in regards to coursework offered each semester.

This position centered on processing all student loan applications, teaching a session on minimizing student debt, and answering questions that pertained to the various Federal Financial Aid programs.

This position, which was grant funded, focused on assisting students in minimizing their debt incurred while attending college. This was done through a seminar style class, providing students with free personal finance literature, and answering any questions student may have. This position also required grant preparation and allowed me to assist in the grant writing process; this included presenting pertinent statistics/evidence during the grant re-application site visit with the Missouri Department of Higher Education.
