Consultant to the screen print sector based in China, initally retained by Decoplas Ltd, then Tradex Converting before working freelance as a senior print engineer. I also wrote a training manual 'The Principles of Printing' as the basis of training a multi-national mix of screen printers and engineers, and providing ongoing support before contracting to Hydracare and becoming a permanent employee in 2012.

Overseen the bulding of a new clean room facility, housing and recommissioning of printing and cutting lines imported from IM3D (UK). Developed a comprehensive training program and selection criteria to enable recruitment and rapid deployment of a new team of Chinese operatives and engineers, including proposing and providing expert technical support for a R&D unit in Sweden.

I was sought out by my previous employer at Lenstech Display Windows Ltd to quickly establish new print and cutting lines to replicate my previously successful set-up. This position in the U.K required a highly experienced all round performer and problem solver. Shortly after establishing the print unit, the print and cutting lines were sold to Tradex (Suzhou, China), and I was retained as a consultant to dismantle and package the machinery ready for export.

Assisted in creating a new 'state of the art' print room to supply high quality, IMD (In-Mould Decorated) parts (primarily mobile phone lenses) to customers such as Sony Ericsson, and Motorola. Initially employed as a Screen Printer, I was promoted in 1989 to Team Leader, and again in 1995 to Print Supervisor. I was instrumental in establishing a new print department to create new process procedures and re-train print operatives.
