With a passion for protecting and serving communities in times of crisis, I have been working as a Preparedness Planner Contractor at FL Dept of Health since January 2024. In this role, I apply my M.S. in Emergency Management and my extensive knowledge of disaster preparedness, risk assessment, and response coordination to support the development and implementation of public health emergency plans and programs.Before joining FL Dept of Health, I spent over two years as an Operations Specialist at Wounded Warrior Project. I contributed to the organization's mission of honoring and empowering wounded warriors by ensuring the quality, efficiency, and compliance of the program operations.I served as an Emergency Management Specialist at the United States Air Force for eight years, gaining valuable experience in crisis management, stakeholder engagement, and instruction. I am eager to join a team that shares my values of integrity, loyalty, and excellence, and that offers me the opportunity to grow and learn in a dynamic and supportive environment.
