Michaela is a licensed social worker (LSW) with experience employing trauma-informed psychosocial interventions to help individuals, families, and communities improve their mental health and well-being. Michaela was awarded the Louis Stokes Fellowship in Community and Social Development to pursue her MSW, which she completed in 2023. Through her masters, Michaela engaged in specialized learning on the impacts of trauma on neurodevelopment, and she is passionate about incorporating somatosensory, experiential interventions into her work. Prior to graduate school, Michaela was a management consultant for five years. She also has experience in media production, event planning, education, as well as sports management and coaching.
