Digital Illustrator - Beastly Doodles

Current
Self-Employed

United States

I'm currently a self-employed artist, working mostly with digital media, but also with traditional media such as paint and ink. The majority of my commissions are Pet Portraits, not just dogs; horses, ferrets, birds, reptiles, cats, & sometimes humans! I specialize in semi-realism & cel-style illustration, but am capable of nearly anything.I have a passion for nature and illustrate endangered species in an effort to raise awareness.I am also capable of landscapes, buildings, vehicles, & whatever else I or my commissioner can imagine. On top of creating the illustrations free-hand, I also record the entire process of digital my work and edit them together myself to make Time-Lapse videos, portraits take anywhere from 10 ~ 60 hours to complete, so I condense them to a few minutes. This gives people a chance to see the illustration come to life in front of their eyes, to show that I take the time to carefully draw, without using textures or special brushes, every piece of hair, every scale or feather, no detail is unimportant to me when it comes to their loved one. It also gives other artists a chance to see my techniques and methods, to maybe help them with their own creative passions. My strengths with traditional media are paints of any kind, pencil, ink, pastel, charcoal. I make curtains, pillows, blankets, toys, animal accessories, & jewelry. I can sew by machine or hand, and hand-sculpt clayMy love for all things creative and my endless hunt for knowledge blend together nicely, especially within my art field, because any medium or program I'm unfamiliar with I am eager to master.I currently use a MacBook Pro/Wacom tablet to create my digital work, but I am also familiar with Windows OS. I use FireAlpaca as a personal preference, but am able to use Photoshop and all its many versions, as well as Microsoft Paint & GIMP.
