I am responsible for providing daily care and planning and coordinating activities for up to 42 residents with Alzheimer's, dementia, and other mentally and physically debilitating diseases. Other medical experience includes 60 hours total shadowing Certified Physician Assistant Terri Hinton at Midwest Family Care in Olathe,KS the summers of 2015 and 2017. Previous tutoring and teaching assistant jobs at Pittsburg State University have provided me with confidence in my ability to help educate individuals and provide understanding in a variety of topics. Also, I am very comfortable with leading and promoting discussions as well as contacting potential clients or strategic partners, leading meetings, and providing training and/or education to individuals. Working in both a healthcare setting and as a customer service representative at a call center, during my undergrad, helped to develop my professionalism and the ability to remain calm, pleasant, and provide service in awkward, rude, aggressive, and other difficult situations.
