I'm a Ph.D. Mathematician currently applying my skills and knowledge to build training for customers across the Google Cloud Platform. In previous positions, I focused on teaching others how to do data engineering, data science and machine learning on Google Cloud in addition to teaching mathematics. I have 10+ years of experience teaching others, developing curriculum and performing research.My academic research involved the intersection of two areas of mathematics, knot theory and representation theory. In particular, I use tools from homological algebra (a major tool in many areas of mathematics, including topological data analysis) to study knot invariants. I also have experience leading research projects for undergraduate and graduate students including research in braid-based cryptography and topological quantum field theories for knot invariants. I always enjoy finding an excuse to think about interesting problems which often brings me back in this direction.
