As the data science team grows in popularity we are also growing in scope to serve more of the company. My responsibility has been to bring the culture and tools that has been the keystone of our success in the services organization to a broader audience.Led the platform migration from on premise tools (Oracle / SAS / Qlikview) to cloud native tools (Snowflake / Data Bricks / DBT / Python). Many of the scheduled jobs realized drastic gains in processing speed and decreased costs (i.e., 7 hours to 5 minutes for financial data mart creation).Much of my time in this position is spent helping other colleagues succeed, while still meeting the needs of the customers for which I own the relationship.

-Established a standard Accounts Receivable documentation process and maintained receivables in QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions. Pursued clients for past due collections.-Coded Accounts Payable, submitted bills for CFO approval, maintained bill data in QuickBooks, and answered vendor inquiries.-Queried a project database to make timely sales reports and client analysis reports as requested by the financial team and the sales leadership. Employed Excel Macros for further analysis.-Verified the accuracy of Employee Expense Reports, and coded and entered for timely travel reimbursement.-Prepared weekly check batches of up to 600 checks for respondents to research studies.-Assisted with the month end closing by journalizing accrual entries, and preparing account reconciliations as delegated by financial team.-Maintained the Fixed Asset listing and automated the monthly depreciation expense.-Established compliance with IRS 1099 regulations and internal controls.

-Maintained Accounts Receivable in QuickBooks, and prepared a weekly schedule of anticipated collections for the General Manager based on customer responses.-Simplified cash flow by verifying the accuracy of Accounts Payable and preparing a spreadsheet to help the General Manager prioritize weekly cash outflows.-Developed an asset listing from scratch and determined whether leases were capital or operating according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.-Provided telephone back up for the receptionist and documented leads for the sales team.
