The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) is a prominent student-governed organization in the United States, established in 1975. It aims to increase the representation and success of culturally responsible Black engineers in academia, professions, and community leadership roles.As a Alumni & Company Relations Chair, I take pride in my role where I actively reach out to Lehigh alumni, fostering relationships that lead to contributions, donations, and valuable mentorship opportunities. Outside of enhancing branding efforts, I leverage my skills in securing sponsorships from companies, which not only support our chapter's day-to-day operations but also enhance our presence at NSBE national conventions. To date we have worked with organizational and corporate leaders such as Johnson & Johnson, EY, and Lumens. My approach is centered around building strong relationships, whether it's with alumni, corporate partners, or fellow NSBE members. I am passionate about fundraising and coordinating events that enrich the NSBE experience, ensuring that our current and future members benefit from valuable connections, resources, and opportunities for growth.In essence, I am dedicated to strengthening our NSBE community through proactive engagement and strategic partnerships, aiming to create a supportive and impactful environment for all members.

Razor Development is a real estate development and construction management firm based in New York City. The company is dedicated to ensuring the value of their work is beneficial for property owners and enjoyable for their tenants.During my internship, I shadow a Professional Engineer (PE) to gain firsthand experience in designing and constructing residential and commercial properties. I actively participate in site inspections, analyze design specifications, and ensure that construction activities comply with city regulations. In addition to these responsibilities, I develop creative solutions for complex challenges encountered during the project. I also utilize specialized software to optimize commercial operations and enhance project efficiency, contributing to the overall success of the team and gaining valuable skills in the process.Accomplishments Include:- Supervised civil engineering processes alongside a Professional Engineer (PE) to strengthen operations including, but not limited to planning and feasibility, design, and risk management across three (3) commercial and residential properties valued at over $20M.- Coordinated the end-to-end planning of in site inspections, design specification analysis, and the oversight of 15+ construction compliance reports with city regulations to aid the enterprise meet a +98% error-free process, compliance, and outcome success rate.

The Lehigh Fund serves as a critical source of unrestricted funds that can be allocated to areas of greatest need across the university, including academic programs, student scholarships, faculty support, research initiatives, and campus facilities. As a Development Coordinator I focused my efforts on driving outreach, programming impact, and alumni relations. In driving outreach, I employed targeted strategies to engage alumni and donors, highlighting unique achievements and innovations that benefit from their contributions. On the communication side of my efforts, I collaborated closely with faculty and stakeholders to showcase the impact of philanthropic support on advancing engineering education and research at Lehigh University.Accomplishments Include:- Refined existing marketing and outreach strategies to develop, plan, and execute diverse fundraising campaigns; engineered and implemented two (2) campaigns that boosted quarterly donor participation, support, engagement over $140K in funding in <4 months.- Collaborated with 20+ cross-functional university departments including senior leadership, fundraising experts, and alumni relations to design fundraising strategies; assisted in bringing in $114,000 in gifts and commitments within three (3) months of tenure.

During my tenure as an Operations Coordinator I worked at Taylor Gymnasium. Taylor Gymnasium is a central facility on the campus of Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. It serves as a hub for recreational and fitness activities for students, faculty, and staff. The gymnasium offers a variety of amenities and services designed to promote physical well-being and community engagement.Accomplishments Include:- Employed project and program strategies to enhance guest services and service satisfaction including, but not restricted to employing new communication channels, enacting guest surveys, and collecting post service/communication feedback for ~455 daily guests.- Managed daily operational frameworks and processes, including, but not limited to appointment scheduling, statistical recording and reporting, risk management analysis, guest service communications, program supervision, and end of day facility management.
