Working under the trading name of “A MAN 4 Lean Innovation” I am helping companies improve their competitiveness through the Lean Innovation journey of continuous improvement. This means working with them to increase their understanding of Lean Innovation at a pace that they are comfortable with, in order to become more efficient, effective and profitable. They can use this knowledge to gain competitive advantage in their markets through my acting as a coach/facilitator, helping to give them the tools and directions to problem solve and to increase profitability.Having been reared in a family business environment, I have a good understanding and appreciation of the challenges facing SMEs. With over 30 years’ experience, I have worked in nearly every sector while employed by Enterprise Ireland, Forbairt and IDA Ireland. Since obtaining my MBA, over the last 17 years I have worked on the WCM Programme, the Lean Programme, the Technology Audit Programme and the benchmarking initiatives both as a consultant and as a facilitator. All of these were focused on helping companies grow profitably. Prior to that I was working on the Company Development Programme in IDA Ireland which is a Strategic Approach for companies. It gave me good experience in helping companies to grow more rapidly through a reviewing their business processes, followed by strategic review. The focus through all of this has been client led and doing what is best for the company.
