Typically implementations involved slick writing, video production, web and intranet messaging, large events, social media, etc.From 2014 to 2018 I was Communications Manager (Workforce Enablement) for IBM's Global Markets Group (IBM's key Sales and Distribution team) across Australia / New Zealand.From 2010 to 2014 I was Communications Manager (Workforce Enablement) for IBM's successful Software Group across Australia / New Zealand.From 2008 to 2010, on top of managing IBM's global intranet (the On Demand Workpace ODW) for Australia and New Zealand, I led IBM's digital foray into social media, launching and managing IBM's social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter and YouTube accounts) for IBM's Smarter Planet go-to-market campaign for Australia New Zealand. In this role I also developed the award winning YouTube Video Series for IBM's Smarter Planet for Australia & New Zealand (series 1 and 2).From 2006 to 2008 I was regularly invited to IBM headquarters in New York as a key member of IBM's global entreprise content management team. From 2001 to 2003 I managed IBM's One Team publications in Australia / New Zealand. I won IBM's Marketing Services Award for my work and was selected for IBM's 100% club for top performers.

In 1999, I competed in the Government Services Exam and achieved top 1% results, leading to job offers from the Australian Defense Signals Directorate and the Australian Security Intelligence Organisation (ASIO) I accepted an offer from the Sydney-based Statutory Authority EOWA.During 1998 and 1999 I ran a successful health consultancy through the Interactive Centre for Health, having developed the centre's first website. From 1991 to 1997 I travelled extensively: I taught mathematics in Africa; gained farming experience in Israel, tree-planting experience in northern Canada and gained experience in hospitality management in the UK and Canada, most notably managing multiple stores for the Cake Company in Alberta, Canada. In 1990, I graduated from the University of NSW with a Bachelor of Commerce, Marketing. My first position was as a Marketing Officer from Maxwell MacMillan Publishing before I accepted a position as the Australian Marketing Officer for the Thailand Trade Commission, hosting Australian delegates at Key International Trade Exhibitions. This position gave me a passion for travel.
