This family owned and operated business served fine French cuisine to customers in the Raleigh/Durham/ Chapel Hill market for eleven years until its sale in 2012. Primary ownership member responsible for the company’s P&L. Managed all back of the house operations including staffing, menu development, food preparation and safety, inventory and purchasing, revenue management, and facilities management. Also responsible for managing accounting and finance, legal, technology, and licensing and permitting.

Provided expertise in the business to business software and technology industry offering services to improve sales and marketing performance, expand/globalize sales channels, enhance professional services utilization, and increase customer satisfaction. Representative assignments include:  Engaged by a global provider of enterprise applications software, serving as the Vice President of Customer Success and Retention, to study client attrition and develop a strategy to protect recurring $160 million maintenance revenues representing 48% of the Americas annual revenue. Recommendations adopted and implemented as part of a successful exit strategy.  Evaluated the under performing North American business unit of an international IT services company. Recommended changes in measuring consultant utilization and in hiring practices leading to improved customer satisfaction and sales growth.

Full P&L responsibility for the $52 million North America division, which included operations in both the United States and Canada, reporting to the corporate CEO. The business derived revenue from sales of software licenses, maintenance and support services, and professional services with approximately 300 employees located in 10 offices. Based in Sweden and with revenues of over $300 million, IFS World (Corporate Parent) was publicly traded on the Stockholm exchange and had operations across the globe.Managed 7 direct reports including the VP of Sales, VP of Services, CFO, CTO, VP of Marketing, Legal Counsel, and the President of IFS Canada. Participated as a key member of the IFS Group executive committee setting overall strategy and policy for IFS’ global operations.Progressively promoted to this position after having served as the Managing Director (Dec. '98 - May '03) and Sales Manager (Jan. '98 - Dec. '98) for the eastern U.S. region.
