I have passion to work smarter, to use my time wisely and avoid extra steps. What does that mean for me? Willing set aside time to reflect on what has pushed me to success or accidentally created a failure. It also means researching the future techniques, technology, attitudes and people that enables human productivity. I strive to feel the contentment that results in knowing that I did my absolute best. 30+ years of professional experience in dual vocations. 8+ years as a commercial estimator in HVAC and Plumbing, along with 13+ years as a pipefitter in large commercial projects. In addition, 13+ years in healthcare in the fields of safety, fire and emergency management and a few more (wearing lots of hats in healthcare due to Life Safety – Joint Commission and other AHJ’s). My family has a history of construction, as my father was a certified welder, ranging from Nuclear Plants to Healthcare and everything in-between. Built his own home and is a self-made man and self-starter. Familiar with Quickpen products (also known as Trimble Autobid Mechanical and Trimble Autobid Mechanical) and FastDuct and Fast PIPE estimating products. Fluid with Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and a wide variety of other office products. Getting familiar with the Revit family, included Revit, Navisworks and other model software. Moving toward handling BIM modeling and clashes personally. A computer power user/geek on a Mac, PC, Android, Chrome or iOS. Also, a Bluebeam Certified Instructor with a wide background in hardware and software troubleshooting. My hobbies are pencil sketching, running and eating healthy - unless I am having a bit of fun indulging!I am a detective at heart, love a challenge and tend to be pragmatic and thorough. Use technology to save time, work and effort. For instance, one of my past goals (8+ years ago) was to research productivity software that runs across multiple platforms such as Mac, PC, iOS, Android and Chrome. This means that I can move not only from a single device with the same information, but different operating systems. This has benefited me to this day! Not afraid to get in the weeds, get my hands dirty, try a different approach or even just work hard to get something completed. Willing to go the distance for customers, projects and to bring respect to everyone, even if they disagree with me. Above all, I am a proud father of 3 wonderful children and have devoted my adult life to raising and spending time with, along with my beautiful wife of 20 years.
