Senior Training Engineer
CurrentHaving jointed LogicMonitor as it was an early-stage startup, I've helped it grow by orders of magnitude in size and I've done a wide scope of work, ranging from end-user support to enterprise solution-building.While at LogicMonitor, I have:• Prepared and delivered technical instruction for our end users, our technical staff, the company as a whole, and our professional certification programs.• Written many integrations between the LogicMonitor platform and various kinds of hardware and software, using and interpreting Groovy, Python, XML, and JSON, for both monitoring and messaging.• Supported our sales team in a sales engineering capacity, working with their technical prospects to plan and implement successful enterprise deployments of our services.• Served as an escalation point for technical issues that our sales and support teams cannot solve.• Built a shared lab environment with hardware and virtualized portions running ESX, Windows, Linux, networking hardware, databases, web applications, and real and simulated network subnets. Built demonstration application stacks in Amazon’s AWS.• Co-developed and presented the curriculum for our "Cert Day" at our first user conference. • Gave numerous “Tech Talks”, hour-long presentations on technical topics of interest including: Linux, NetApp, JDBC, and HTTP.
