I grew up in Sussex, WI always interested in science and the environment. As a cheerleader for seven years, I learned to work well with a team, took on the role of leader/team captain, and found a work/life/school/sport balance at a young age. With years of experience in the service industry, I have gained and improved upon my verbal communication skills and learned to work hard.I have always put my education first. While at Marquette University I joined the Students for an Environmentally Active Campus (SEAC) and Marquette Ocean Conservation Club. When I was accepted into Marquette University, I was offered a yearly educational scholarship, and I made the Dean's List in Fall 2021. I was a Sustainability Reporting Intern at Marquette University where I learned sustainability is the path I want to pursue for my career.While I have always had a love and passion for science -- specifically for the environment -- I am an avid reader and I wanted to further my love of literature, so I have a minor in Literature of Diverse Cultures. This has given me a well-rounded education on how the environment can be impacted everywhere. My minor has also highlighted my writing skills.
