My name is Michael Solorio, and I am currently dual majoring in Finance & Marketing at the University of Colorado Boulder, in the LEEDS school of business. I am originally from the Austin, Texas, area and went to Cedar Park High School. As a junior in high school I was recognized by AP college board as one of the best Hispanic scholars in the nation, and would go on to gradate high school a year early with a 3.87 GPA and 15 AP credits. I then took a gap year, and studied for the SAT 5 hours a week in addition to a 40 hour work week. I then applied to schools and upon being admitted to CU boulder, have been living in Boulder, Colorado, since. I hope to also attain an M.B.A through the LEEDS school of business as well as a certificate in Global Business
