As part of Michael’s commitment to professional development and further developing his engineering skills, he is: a certified member of Engineers Australia; a certified air quality professional by CASANZ; a member of WMAA and IWA; and an associate member of IChemE. Michael is also Chair of the Odour Specialist Interest Group of CASANZ and IWA. Aside from professional development, Michael considers maintaining physical and mental stamina an important facet of a healthy work and life balance. Michael regularly engages in extracurricular activities, including aerobic exercises, weight training and volunteering as a maths tutor. He also has a love for books. In recent times, he has to authored and co-authored a number of publications, being a conference speaker and participated and played a key role in several high-profile public meetings.
