Mike serves as lead client service partner and advisory partner for some of Deloitte’s largest and most complex global banking and capital market clients, with responsibility for maintaining board and senior executive relationships, as well as overseeing the teams delivering for our clients. Throughout his career Mike has been a trusted advisor to the C-Suite of major financial services firms on topics such as corporate governance, wealth management, and broker/dealer operations and technology. Mike is also a key member of Deloitte’s U.S. Financial Services Leadership and has held a number of roles including being the vice chair and leader of Deloitte’s US banking and capital markets practice, the leader of the U.S. and India cross-border business, and the sector’s Client Excellence Leader. Mike is also actively involved in Deloitte’s university relations and serves as the lead university partner for Duke University.Before joining Deloitte, Mike spent eight years at Wachovia Securities where he was a Managing Director and held positions as Chief Operations Officer and Chief Administrative Officer.
