Michael is a Director and a Union storyboard artist. He’s storyboarded and worked on many features including Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man II, which he’s credited for shooting the test shots for the Doc Ock puppeteer unit, and working closely with the likes of Sam Raimi and John Dykstra.For seasons at a time, of many TV shows, he has worked as a Storyboard Director and Senior Illustrator - 2 seasons of Salem, 2 seasons of The Orville. Worked with Executive Producer, Nick Copus on Season 3 of Lethal Weapon directing many complex action sequences. Magnum PI, “Books of Blood” (Hulu), and currently on the new Jeff Bridges series, “The Old Man,” with Producer, Judd Rea.Michael self-produced and directed the feature film, mockumentary - Take 22. This comedy is packed with improv grates such as Archie Hahn (Off-The-Wall) and Rick Overton, a giant in the improv Hollywood community. Also, five, count ’em, five Groundlings lent their talent to this film, including Ben Falcone (SuperIntelligence), Mitch Silpa (All Rise, Bridesmaids) also starring, Tom Wilson, (Biff - Back To The Future), Dave Thomas (SCTV), and Chris Pina, (David Letterman). Out of 600 feature films submitted, Take 22 won 5 awards including best picture at the Mock Film Festival at Raleigh Studios in Hollywood.He has also Produced & Directed a horror film entitled Sam Hell, and a found-footage film entitled, 1013 Briar Lane. He’s a paid screenplay writer, author of the novel, Nine Degrees North, author of a memoir, In The Shadows of Giants, and author and illustrator of several children’s books as well - all on Amazon.He has specialized in creating print sales tools for the entertainment industry since the early ’80s and continues generating entertainment art and branding to this day. He’s worked for all the majors, including Disney and Universal, Art Directing and Illustrating such DVD and VHS titles as Marry Poppins, Rescuers Down Under, Babe, and 101 Dalmatians just to name a few.

This film earned him an award for Best Feature film at the Raleigh Studios Film Festival in Hollywood. Through Son of Jason Productions, Michael Bayouth's film production company, he's produced 4 feature films to date, as well as many live-action shorts.Bayouth received 3 screen credits on Sony's feature film "SPIDER-MAN 2" for his work shooting and compositing test shots for the tentacle effects for Alfred Molina's "Doc Ock" character, and for his work as videographer of behind-the-scenes footage for the DVD. He's currently a member of the Art Directors Guild, The Writer's Guild, SAG and is a lifetime member at The Magic Castle in Hollywood California.When he's not writing, acting or producing, he makes a living as a storyboard artist. With his filmmaker's background he brings a rare and sought after combination that sets him apart from others in his field. He creates shooting boards for films as well as color storyboards for commercials. He recently boarded action sequences for SALEM, FOX's "Sleepy Hollow," AMC's "TURN," J.J. Abrams' "Revolution" on NBC and for "Entourage The Movie." His boards are cut specific and feature the anatomy of the scene communicating camera angles & action movement.
