Under Fuzzy Door’s multi-year television deal with Universal Studio Group (USG), the company produces Peacock’s "Ted,” the prequel series to its commercially successful films of the same name. The series, which recently wrapped production on its second season, premiered to global success, becoming the No. 1 original comedy series streaming in the US for two consecutive months, and Sky UK’s biggest US comedy launch in the last 20 years.
Under its pact with USG, Fuzzy Door is currently producing several projects including the upcoming “The Burbs” series adaptation starring Keke Palmer and the seven-book graphic novel series “The Shrouded College”, both for Peacock. Additionally, the company is in development on the revival of Herman Wouk’s classic American War novels “The Winds of War” and TV adaptation of Matt Dinniman’s novel “Dungeon Crawler Carl” for Universal International Studios.
Fuzzy Door also produces the animated series “American Dad!”, and Hulu’s “The Orville.” The company produced “Cosmos: A Spacetime Odyssey,” and the second installment “Cosmos: Possible Worlds.” On the film side, Fuzzy Door has produced numerous commercially successful films such as TED, TED 2 and A MILLION WAYS TO DIE IN THE WEST. The company is producing REVENGE OF THE NERDS with the Lucas Bros. for 20th Century Studios, and Paramount’s highly anticipated THE NAKED GUN remake starring Liam Neeson and Pamela Anderson, in theaters on August 1.
