Performed hardware and software support for company users. Setup, move, configure telephone equipment for new and existing users, this included patching in jacks at users desks and cross-connecting phone jacks, and setting up phone extensions in Avaya Site Administrator. Build laptop and desktop computers with company base image. Setup, move and configure printers for users and departments. Troubleshot remote connectivity for users through Cisco VPN client and other methods.While working in Desktop Support, became a subject matter expert (SME) for thin client, terminal server and Citrix server environment. SME responsibility included troubleshooting, configuring and resolving user issues. Project work included large thin client configurations and roll out in departments that were scheduled to be transitioned to thin clients.
