Control & Management of top-level planning activity as well as total UK reporting and analysis.Key responsibilities• Set up and manage the Annual Sales Plans, Territory Sales & Discount Phasing (by week, quarter, season & year) for both company totals as well as product group specific. Present proposals to all relevant levels of the business, from junior Merchandiser through to MD.• Critical Path Management - manage the planning critical path ensuring Finance/B&M & Planning are all aligned and forecasting at the right point in the process through-out the year.• Managing/reviewing/approving OTB – agree with the Merchandisers the original Annual OTB Spend by division and then manage the OTB in season• WSSI Management – Management of WSSI functionality and reporting to Commercial Director, highlighting opportunities across the business on sales, discounts, stock and intake.• Sales Phasing Proposals – generate daily sales phasing at company total and product type level, taking into consideration historic sales, promotions and historic events affecting trade, alongside future events and promotions.• Monitor and report on inventory levels (intake, closing stocks, product recalls to vendor etc) and NAM/cash flow. Make recommendations and highlight areas of concern and opportunities, as well as making recommendations to achieve and exceed agreed targets.Key Achievements:JDA Merchandising Planning system – the successful management of design, testing and introduction of a bespoke WSSI solution (Sofco) to replace the previous unsupported system (JDA Arthur). This facilitated the successful roll out of a planning & reporting application used by merchandisers and the wider management team, with enhanced visibility on business measures such as margins and values at a cost basis.Achieving annual closing stocks levels through analysis of SKU level sales, stock turn, BSLs, vendor returns and OTB approvals, whilst ensuring sales were not negatively impacted
