Currently, I am a Senior Technical Writer/Editor responsible for protocol creation, grant writing, regulatory affairs documents and management, IRB submissions and manuscript writing. I am on the Editorial Board of a prestigious international journal as well.Originally, I have a background in muscle physiology using both exercise and nutritional interventions to improve muscle health in older adults. I have experience running clinical trials, working in animal models and cell culture that has given me the skills to be a translational researcher. I have measured both acute and longitudinal outcome measures in older adults such as: muscle protein turnover, anabolic signaling, changes in body composition, weight loss, cardio metabolic markers and physical function.
