Overseeing implementation of the AIP strategies within the Project, in particular with the major Subcontracts and procurement teams located in Yokohama, China, Thailand, Singapore, Perth and Darwin. Australian Industry Participation-Local Content Co-OrdinatorKbr, Inc. Oct 2013 - Mar 2019KBR, along with JGC Corporation and Chiyoda Corporation, have formed JKC Australia LNG Pty Ltd (JKC). JKC has been engaged to deliver the engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) activities for the Ichthys Project onshore LNG facilities.The Project, involves gas from the Ichthys Field in the Browse Basin off north-west Australia being exported to the onshore processing facilities in Darwin via an 889km pipeline. The Ichthys LNG Project is expected to produce 8.4 million tonnes of LNG, 1.6 million tonnes of LPG per annum, and 100,000 barrels of condensate per day at peak over its 40 year life-span.My role is to ensure and facilitate the engagement of Australian businesses by Subcontractors across the whole Ichthy`s Project to maximise Local Content. Overseeing implementation of the AIP strategies within the Project, in particular with the POC and YOC subcontracts and procurement teams. Work with Subcontractors Procurement Team to ensure AIP Contract requirements flow down to lower tier subcontractors and suppliers. Work with the ICN NT, industry groups and Subcontractors to identify regional supplier capability. Liaise with the INPEX and Subcontractors on AIP matters Prepare industry and community briefings and presentations.
