SHIFT SUPERVISOR, Department of Public SafetyTransitioned from part-time to full-time in 2009 and attained rank of sergeant in a 20-person campus public safety department on 100-acre suburban college campus with 1200 resident and 400 commuting students. Department staff provides comprehensive program of police, security, crime prevention, fire safety and emergency medical, parking and related public safety services.● Monitor shift activity and provide safety and security protection for members of the college community and for college property. Ensure compliance with department’s regulations, state and federal laws, and student code of contact. Accurately document incidents using online CJIS or IMC databases as appropriate. ● Spearheaded collaboration with IT department to upgrade web-based CJIS program, which significantly enhanced recordkeeping, research and communication efficiencies. ● Administer CJIS system and perform audit every two years. Re-wrote policies and procedures (e.g., fingerprinting, testing, onboarding, ongoing training) to comply with CJIS protocols.

Advanced Acoustic Technology Group-Bose Research: Work with engineers to create, innovate and pursue audio and video technology that can wow and delight customers. Similar job responsibility as below added building computers for the group to use as well as support to other groups within Bose running Bose custom tools on shuttle PC’s.

Concept Engineering Group-Bose R&D: With little manager guidance manage lab, lab stock and budget/select/purchase equipment for projects and general lab use. Developed lab stock inventory spreadsheets for distribution to group personnel. Build prototype speakers, PCB assembly, wire for testing, present results to engineers.

Plan to Win Group-Bose R&D: New company within a company concept. All engineering disciplines in a pod concept. Task with setting up a new lab and listening rooms. Source, evaluate and create a budget/schedule to propose to engineers. Completed on time and on budget. Developed with engineer new improved waveguide technology for the Acoustic Wave Music System®. Alpha and Beta testing data collection for several Bose Lifestyle® products; LS12, LS18, LS25.
