Information Technology Service Desk Manager
CurrentThe Kennedy Center Information Technology department provides and supports a variety of applications, systems and tools to staff, performers, patrons and other constituents. The role of the Service Desk Manager is to coordinate support between various teams within information technology, including security, CRM, ERP, and Windows desktop support, to handle the hundreds of technology support requests made each day from the 700+ staff who work at the Kennedy Center facility and its satellite locations in the DC area. ► Manages 2 frontline support staff who support all end-users in using the appropriate technology resources allocated to them.► Manages and improves the Jira ticketing infrastructure using automation to provide efficient ticket handling► Responsible for maintaining high levels of service quality and end user satisfaction using appropriate, available, and actionable metrics.► Oversees new staff onboarding and developed a series of PowerShell tools to reduce the setup time for each user from hours to only 5 minutes and from 70 steps to only 6. ► Administers Office 365 and Teams, Windows Active Directory, Kace, DocuSign, Adobe Creative Cloud and Google Apps. Supports AV needs for staff meetings and board meetings.► Provide hands-on support to staff each day.
