As an NCAA Division I student-athlete, it was my goal to be an impact player. Through soccer, I developed the ability to perform under pressure and in diverse environments. I strived to quickly recognize what was going on around me, anticipate my next course of action, and communicate effectively with my teammates in order to coordinate our tactics. Competing at a high level also taught me never to give up or accept failure. I always want to be the best at whatever I am doing and I believe that soccer instilled in me the necessary abilities to succeed. Not only were those competencies required, but our coaching staff demanded integrity and accountability from each of its athletes.
