Michael focuses on strategies for preservation and transfer of wealth, including multi-generational planning, complex trust and estate planning strategies, estate-tax minimization and philanthropic planning strategies.Michael is a leader within our industry. Appointed to Morgan Stanley’s Financial Advisor Council, Michael represented the interests of Financial Advisors and clients in this national forum. He also served on the regional and local Financial Advisor Council for Morgan Stanley’s Southeast Region. Michael holds a degree in Finance from the University of Alabama, and sits on the University’s International Finance Board, as well as its President’s Cabinet. He and his wife, Kara, are both very active in their community, where Michael serves on the Board of Directors for the United Way of West Alabama. He is deeply committed to his four children, Macon, Hill, Michael and Jude.
