He has solid experience in: - leading both strategic and tactical initiatives across multiple business units, departments, and regions- acting as business faceoff and building strong relationships with business sponsors- being fungible across multiple roles such as Program Manager, Project Manager, Business Analyst, and Technical Lead- managing multiple development teams of employees and consultants across Hong Kong, Shanghai, Zhuhai and Mumbai- managing software vendors including vendor selection, cost negotiation and relationship management- being a technology owner of 70+ systems used by multiple Operations departments covering both cash and derivatives- designing new critical systems in areas such as operational process automation, regulatory reporting, and monitoring- designing preventive and detective controls in regulatory reporting processes and systems- business process review, risk assessment and renovation- budget planning and cost reductionPrior to joining Morgan Stanley, Michael was a research assistant in Department of Computer Science and Engineering from 2005 to 2007.
