Develops, implements and maintains various manufacturing plans, Bill of Materials, work instructions and illustrations to define and document as-built configuration. Supported full scale machine shop F.A.S.T.(Fabrication, Assembly, Set-up, & Test) with capabilities including; Electrical and Mechanical Assembly, CNC Machines, Water-jets, Press/Brake Forming, Sheet Metal Fabrication, Saws, Lathes and Welding. Assists with development and integration of suppliers, processes, materials, data and technology to meet manufacturing and delivery requirements. Assists in reviewing supplier data to ensure manufacturing related requirements are met. Reviews NCR’s and creates re-work orders and operations based on engineer dispositions. Knowledge of CAPP, PDM, OWI, NCM, MESci and CMES. Creates test plans for system level testing and manufacturing of TTO parts. Identifies tooling requirements and initiates tooling orders based on manufacturing and engineering requirements. Assists in tooling dispositions. Investigates and offers options to resolve manufacturing/supplier issues. Assists with producibility assessments for part or product designs. Assists in providing input to design, manufacturing processes and manufacturing technologies to meet cost and schedules. Develops work statements and sequencing of events to support delivery commitments. Assists in the review, maintenance and monitoring of internal documents.

Assembles and installs aircraft electrical systems, equipment, and accessories using defined cleaning and installation methods and wrist grounding straps. Performed continuity tests of electrical assemblies using ohmmeters, M1 meters and test lights. Ensures parts issued are effective for the airplane and free of visible defects. Cuts wire(s) to specified length per drawing using wire cutters. Groups and identifies wire runs per drawing, routes, clamps and ties wires and/or wire bundles per drawing. Cuts and installs plastic sleeves over wire(s) and/or wire bundles, as required. Attaches appropriate fittings to wire ends, (e.g., lug or spade connectors) crimps and terminates using hand or machine crimping tools. Installs wiring to accessories (e.g., relays, circuit breakers, switches) per drawing using hand tools. Uses prints, schematic drawings, documents, production illustrations, etc., to accomplish task. Selects correct parts, materials, tools and assemblies to complete jobs. Determines correct fastener sizes per drawing and grip gauge to install fasteners in correct sequence per drawing, using correct tools (e.g., rivet gun and bucking bar, drill motor, power screwdriver, C-squeeze, ratchet wrench, and nut runner) Operates various mechanical lifts to perform required work outside of the aircraft utilizing the correct fall protection equipment. Served as FOD Focal.

Uses systems such as Velocity, Delmia, and EID to connect, assemble, and seal sections and components to complete assembly of composite/metal aircraft. Sets-up and operates production equipment to support production goals. Assembles precision and structural aircraft components and sub-assemblies. Drills, reams, and countersinks holes; applies sealant, alodine, primer, adhesives and special finishes. Obtains necessary sealant, solvent and cleansers to perform various seal applications including fay surface seal while utilizing correct protective equipment. Experience installing rivets using rivet guns, bucking bars and C-squeeze. Handles and disposes of hazardous materials in an approved manner (e.g., solvents, thinners, and primers.) Performs re-work to damaged areas or parts per pick-ups, rejection tags, non-conformance records or other authorized instructions per engineering dispositions. Writes reports, tie-ins, and maintains records; ensures all paperwork and computer data are completed accurately. Served as Tool Focal.
