They are a dominant local business that received over 700 “quote requests” this past seasonal year (including 683 new email addresses to add to their database that I helped create email sequences for--including the landing pages that converted them).I don’t install Christmas Lights, but I did use that aforementioned piece of software in my head to help ‘install’ the type of thinking and computing into their business while also using my communication skills in a way that helped guide these small business owners to this position in their local market which in turn helped create their incredible growth.

o At age 12 (mid-90’s), I created an eBay account looking for some opportunity and found one after I purchased an information cd on “How To Make Money on E-bay”. So what did I do? I did what the person who sold me that CD was doing to make money—but better! I started and ran a $500 a week business from scratch that I operated after school and on weekends. o At age 16, I wanted to upgrade from selling information CD’s, so I started selling what at the time was my hobby—sports cards! What I would do is go find, negotiate, and resell big collections on eBay! The difference between me and my competitors was that I wrote my descriptions like a copywriter would (although at the time I didn’t know what copywriting was).o At age 19, my hobbies changed up again and I became a big fan of boxing and wasn’t very satisfied with the video quality of my personal boxing VHS collection. I went searching for some better quality versions and bought them. After I bought them, I quickly started expanding my collection of high quality recordings and started offering a similar service to others and this eventually scaled to six-figures (when DVD’s became affordable). Everybody wanted their VHS on DVD. This gave me experience with Google Adwords, website creation (HTML), building a systemized business and hiring and managing employees. o At age 22, my interest turned to poker. What fascinated me even more than playing was promoting it—as an affiliate! I made money not only referring players, but other affiliates as well. To refer players, I used pay per click campaigns for the most part. To refer affiliates, I developed relationships and negotiated with them to sign up under me AND I also created a free E-book on “How To Become A 6 Figure Poker Affiliate”, which actually attracted a particular individual that was worth over six-figures. Not bad for a free E-book.
