I am a Senior Surveyor working within the Commercial Valuations division at Knight Frank, specialising in Loan Security Valuations while undertaking some Fund Valuation work.My valuation career began at TelferYoung in mid-2017 as a graduate, having previously held roles at JLL and Colliers International while studying at the University of Auckland. In 2022 I joined CBRE when it acquired TelferYoung. At CBRE I was responsible for valuation and consultancy instructions relating industrial property, suburban and CBD retail property, commercial and residential land, and leased childcare centres. In June 2023 I relocated to London and joined the Real Estate Finance team at Knight Frank where, to date, I have been involved with valuations of office, leisure, retail, and industrial assets for loan security and fund valuation purposes. Prior to my relocation to London I was actively involved in the property industry in Auckland, serving as the Branch Secretary for the Auckland branches of the New Zealand Institute of Valuers and Property Institute of New Zealand. I have previously served as a member and Chairperson of TelferYoung's Young Valuers Focus Group, a small team dedicated to promoting the ideas of young people in our organisation and making valuation an appealing career path for future property graduates.I hold two degrees, being a Bachelor of Commerce (Commercial Law and Marketing) and a Bachelor of Property from the University of Auckland. During the course of my studies I received a number of awards for my work, including the MYOB Most Dynamic Speaker Award and two First in Course Awards. I also served as the Chairperson of the Staff-Student Consultative Committee for the Department of Commercial Law and was an active member of the Investment Club and the Auckland Land Economy Society.
