I am a UK planning law and infrastructure project specialist and qualified barrister. Commercial and skilled at leading technical and complex planning, compulsory purchase and compensation law cases, high-stakes negotiations, public inquiries, and policy development. I provide legal advice and support to executive leadership and help shape overall business strategy.My legal career started in 1988 following admission to the Bar and University of Cambridge Master’s Degree. Over the next 17 years, I operated first from the Chambers of Michael Fitzgerald QC and then from the Chambers of Anthony Scrivener QC, where I advised on a diverse range of planning inquiries, Lands Tribunal references and appeals to the High Court and Court of Appeal across £MM private and public sector developments.Keen to broaden my professional horizons, I transitioned to coaching and development, joining Landmark Worldwide in 2014. Here, I directed Advanced Course and Self-Expression and Leadership Programme (SELP) departments as Assistant Centre Manager, overseeing teams and resources, organising large events, and tracking budgets based on corporate goals and growth objectives. I am also Programme Leader of the SELP for Europe and Middle East region. I bring strategic, operational and fresh cultural perspective to major infrastructure projects, strategic planning needs and transformative change using strong independent judgment and coaching credentials to harmonise conflicting demands.
