The Corporate Strategy & Innovation team is a small but mighty team that helps business leaders grow with confidence. We design processes that result in best-in-class strategies, identify opportunities for future investments, keep an eye toward long-term growth and differentiation, and along the way infuse best practices in strategy & innovation.

As Associate Strategy Director I pitched new clients, developed thought leadership, managed the strategy domain, and created strategies for some of the biggest brands on the planet (e.g., Ford, Lincoln Motor Company, TD Bank, Dell, Jenn-Air, The Limited, and Super-Valu). I uncovered latent and unmet needs of shoppers, triangulated insights from existing research, primary research, as well as industry trends, and provided ammunition for my creative team to design killer, transformative experiences.

As Director of Experience Strategy I uncovered actionable, impactful insights that optimized the user / consumer / customer / shopper experience; decoded attitudes, motivations, and behaviors; tracked retail, technology, and societal trends; uncovered innovative touchpoints along the consumer / shopper journey; and ultimately fueled innovative design and holistic brand experiences.I had the honor to work on the following client accounts: Stage Stores (Bealls, Goody’s, Palais Royal, Peebles, Stage, and Steele's), Office Depot, USG Corporation, MillerCoors, Rocky Boots, Rheem Manufacturing Company, Enterprise Holdings Inc., Tom & Eddie's, Moen, and GNC. I also had the honor to participate in the following Thought Leadership / POV initiatives: Millennial Parents, Omni-Channel, and Visual Merchandising Best Practices.

As senior strategist, I oversaw trend spotting, retailer audits, primary research, and ideation / innovation workshops that drove innovative design and experiences. I had the privilege to work with the following clients: Wrigley, White Castle, Office Depot, The Home Depot, T-Mobile, Rocky Boots, Henny Penny, Eye Care Centers of America, and eBay.

After a transition into a shared resource across all main verticals (Retail, CPG, and Branded Manufacturing), I managed the execution of primary research and supported the Analytics team to uncover behavioral and attitudinal insights. Client engagements included: Oriental Trading Company, HNI Corporation, The Gunlocke Company LLC, Allsteel Inc., Hewlett Packard, TELUS, Alliance Data Systems, L.L.Bean Signature, and Procter & Gamble.

After converting my internship into a full time position, I supported the Strategy Domain within the Retail vertical. Within this position, I executed primary and secondary research. Client engagements included: L.L.Bean, VS PINK, The Limited, President’s Choice, Wendy’s, and The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company.

As an Intern at Resource, I supported the Strategy Domain with Secondary and Primary research on Thought Leadership initiatives. Projects included: Annual Thought Leadership study Digital Millennials, and the annual eCommerce Holiday Watch.
