“Fear kills more dreams than failure ever will” - Suzy KassemI am a first-year Master of Professional Accounting Student (MPAcc) at Edwards School of Business, University of Saskatchewan. Through the MPAcc program, I am working to obtain my CPA designation as I attribute great importance to acquiring an in-depth knowledge in this profession.I truly believe that even accountants need strong communication skills. I chose to build mine through working with Prairie Field Honey the past few summers, managing the honey table at the Farmers Market. This position expanded my communication ability and made me internalize the importance of leading with a friendly and approachable attitude.Being part of Edwards Business Students' Society, the Accounting Club of Edwards, and participating in Western Canada’s Largest Business Case Competition, JDC West, has fine-combed those communication skills. This has enabled me to become a confident presenter, able to creatively communicate data in a manner that caters to my audience.As a musician by heart, I am continuously working towards being better. This has translated to both my personal and professional lives.
