Responsible for building and managing a SAP support team for America’s regions, followed by leading the global SAP team for sales and after sales  Screened, interviewed, and reviewed candidates for business systems analyst (BSA) positions to support new SAP ERP installations in the Americas. Results: Hired six BSAs from external sources and hired two BSAs from internal sources to cover both North and South America. Coordinated training for new hires. Created system that would take data from a steel plate optimization tool and feed it back into the production order system, capturing actual usage and scrap values to compare against planned usage. Results: Cost savings from better planning and utilization of steel plate. Supplier non-conformance requests project. Created web based system that allowed vendors to request non-conformance materials to Manitowoc. Workflow included: purchasing, quality, engineering, and requester. Allowed pre-approval of materials being sent to Manitowoc. Results: Fewer interruptions in the receiving and production areas. Also, supported tracking of current open requests and the gathering of historical data for analysis.

Worked alongside a multi-national team.  Identified global business processes in sales value stream area. Gathered current processes from global business units. Compared current business processes with SAP ERP best practices.
