• Developed bespoke, high-speed computer vision models for inference on edge devices, performing myriad tasks such as few-shot semantic segmentation via prototype alignment networks, and a keypoint visibility classifier.
• Designed a multitask model in PyTorch performing simultaneous pose estimation, person segmentation, and object detection in the same inference time it previously took to do a single task, while also improving in.
• Built a suite of tools for autolabeling large datasets, allowing us to train our multitask models with far more data, and in turn improving pose F1 scores by 3% and segmentation F1 score by 5%.
• Conducted a literature review of 3D pose estimation in which I summarized over 50 papers, identified promising approaches from 12 key papers, and developed a comprehensive roadmap for our team to pursue.
