- Directed foundation and government fundraising for the Campaign for a New Era.- Raised $7 million annually for operating, endowment, and capital gifts from an active roster of more than 100 foundation and government accounts. - Supervised staff of five.Accomplishments- $5 million endowment grant from The Starr Foundation for the Garden’s Virtual Herbarium.- $367,200 (full funding) NEH public programming implementation grant for Darwin’s Garden: An Evolutionary Adventure, a traveling exhibition examining Darwin’s contributions to botany, scientific inquiry, and humanity’s fundamental understanding of nature. This was the Garden’s first NEH exhibition grant.- $213,225 capital grant from the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation’s Environmental Protection Fund for the restoration of the grounds surrounding the Snuff Mill. - Three consecutive $150,000 (full funding) IMLS “Museums for America” grants.- $100,000 grant (full funding) from the NYS Department of Environmental Protection’s Invasive Species Eradication Program, the largest grant awarded in New York State that year. - $60,000 grant from the Robert Sterling Clark Foundation for a new retail licensing program.
