As IT Director I am responsible for 2 employees, over 40 servers and switches, network security, many VPNs serving several departments, and supporting over 200 users. My title also includes that of HIPAA Security Officer. Not only do we maintain the current system, but incorporate new systems and technologies as they are acquired by the hospital. It seems that our responsibilities grow and expand with each new project.

In charge of all aspects of recommending hardware/software, installation and maintenance of all technology in the Genoa-Hugo School District. Installed additional networks, computers and upgrades. Implimented offsite access to security surveillance system and Mobile Device Management initiative.

In January 2008, CRU Data-Port announced the acquisition of WiebeTech LLC. I was invited to continue the work I had been doing with WiebeTech and to take the Central Region and Canada as my sales territory in addition to my Training duties. My task is to help introduce the WiebeTech line of products to the existing CRU-DataPort offerings. My duties include travel to distributor events, working with new and existing resellers and assisting with transition of the way WiebeTech currently conducts sales, to following the supply chain model used by CRU-DataPort. I have conducted Lunch and Learn sessions where Resellers are provided lunch while being presented with an introduction to the WiebeTech line of products. This program also includes a Breakfast & Learn for early morning presentations.

While working as International Sales Manager, I was approached by the CEO of WiebeTech and asked if I would be interested in developing a training program for one of our Forensic products. I accepted the offer and began developing and maintaining the training program. I was responsible for creating the content and presentation materials and the materials for the certification of attendees to the training. I have since given the training and certified Federal agents in the use of the WiebeTech HotPlug device.

While working as the Technical Support Manager, the owner of WiebeTech, James Wiebe, asked me to take on the role of International Sales. In that capacity I worked with current International distributors and resellers and developed new distribution relationships. I traveled to Europe 2-3 times per year representing WiebeTech at trade shows and traveling to meet with new and existing distribution partners. I was successful in creating new partners and strengthening ties with current distributors.

I literally started "in" the ground floor at WiebeTech. Owner James Wiebe, started his company in his home and ran the business out of his basement. While the business was growing, I was a "Jack of all trades" building products, shipping products, receiving, supporting products and taking sales calls. After a year we had grown the business to the point we could move the operation to a business park and out of the owners home. We hired employees for production, shipping/receiving and I focused on sales and Technical support. There I developed and implemented the Technical Support Department for WiebeTech.

My duties as Technical Writer were to • Edit and revise existing documentation• Work with Engineers to create documentation and manuals for new products.• Design and create interactive CD's containing manuals, Spec sheets and documentation for products.• Use Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, Photoshop, Macromedia Director, Microsoft Word, Excel, OutlookI was laid off during downsizing prior to the sale to Aeroflex Inc.

Through previous experience I had technical knowledge that qualified me to work in Technical Support. I worked in that capacity for 18 months until there was an opening in Marketing. I applied for a position and was accepted in the marketing department. I performed many functions from photographing and scanning products for use in manuals and ads to writing user manuals, creating ads for publication and creating packaging for products including content for the layout and design of boxes. I was responsible for all phases of the manuals and packaging including the layout, proofing and approving the final printing of the manuals and packaging.

Responsible for the design and production of newspaper ads, Direct Mail pieces, assisted with catalog and maintained hardware/software and upgrades of both.
