My time is divided between competing in endurance events with my wife and developing life-changing drugs and medical devices. My main areas of expertise are the navigating complex environments with a deep understanding of people and an ability to identify and solve challenges in start-up companies from idea to funded entity and the technical translation of ideas into products which can achieve regulatory approval. I have 30 years of experience in start-up, SME and corporate environments within the life sciences, biotechnology and food sectors where I have held CEO, CSO and NED roles. Furthermore, I have provided technical and advisory services to a range of clients, including governmental and intergovernmental bodies. This has taken me to live on 4 continents and to work across 5. I received a Masters degree in Law in 2021, my first PhD in Anatomy and Human Biology in 1995 and my second in Pharmaceutical Chemistry in 2002. I have experience in the generation and capture of IP and am named inventor on eight patent families.
