This role leads the strategy, development and leadership of enterprise-wide programs, processes, and associated infrastructure for Talent Acquisition, Talent Development and Total Rewards across North America.

As the Vice President of Talent Acquisition, I lead a geographically dispersed team of Talent Acquisition professionals who are focused on creating innovative approaches to sourcing and recruiting the best talent for Sunrise. I am responsible for developing, implementing, and leading world class talent acquisition strategies, and all sourcing, recruiting, vendor management, data & analytics reporting in support of the organization’s business goals and objectives.

As Senior Director, Talent Management, I was responsible for managing talent acquisition, employer brand management, talent development, performance management, employee communications, diversity and inclusion. Partnered with the HR Leadership Team and Leaders across K12 to develop and execute programs to build and sustain a culture that supports the customers’ needs.

As the Director of Talent, I was responsible for the development, delivery and leadership of gategroup's North American talent acquisition & talent development functions. In this role I managed enterprise-wide programs, processes, and associated infrastructure for talent acquisition. Talent development responsibilities include the implementation of internal management and leadership development curriculum and methods to advance individual, team and organization performance in keeping with the group competencies, strategic objectives and mission critical priorities. I provided expertise in learning & development, organizational development, targeted recruitment & succession planning, competency based systems, performance management, learning strategies, facilitation and change management in partnership with business leaders. Additionally, I led a team of human resources “business partner” professionals dedicated to servicing the general human resources needs of all North American regional office functional leaders and teams serving all brands/lines of business located in North America.

In this role I was responsible for leading both the professional and union recruitment teams across North America. Our recruitment department was responsible for over 5,000 hires annually. In addition to talent acquisition, my team was responsible for management of employer branding, NA relocation & immigration, collaborating cross functionally to optimize workforce planning, deliver labor analytics to drive process improvements, manage recruitment technology and related vendor partnerships, as well as managing RPO relationship and related mobile and video strategies.

As the Senior Manager, Union Recruitment and Vendor Programs I was responsible for leading the recruitment productivity for hourly union roles including managing the US Union Recruitment team’s processes and productivity for hourly union recruitment across the US. Manage RPO and other relevant recruitment business partnerships. Build recruitment team and goals and led Union Recruitment to meet and exceed those goals. Help to establish recruitment requirements by studying organization plans and objectives and assist in development and utilization of enterprise workforce planning tools and metrics for anticipatory staffing. Implement strategies to identify and attract the best external talent while building on the Gate Gourmet employment brand.
