• Co-op Work Term: 10 month in total
• Identified major inefficiency in terms of real-time offer management (RTOM) ads generation and implemented dynamic generation based on meta-data
• Major contribution in terms of Graphical User Interface and RTOM functionality to the product Financial Fusion
• Automated deployment through the use of ANT scripts and a java agent for enterprise solution
• Extensive contacts with cross-platform programming and deployment, learned the advantage of using platform independent languages such as Java
• Created an innovative “brand on the fly” concept and administrative console that has proven its worth during the busy demoing periods

• 4 month work term focused on developing web application using Java Enterprise Edition 6
• Used net beans and glassfish 3 for IDE and maven for project compilation and dependency
• Revamped a well-used inventory web application and upgraded it to use PF 3.1 and maven
• Dedicated research and implementation of CDI and Seam 3 for a document sharing project
• Interfacing web applications with SQL and MySQL server setup using glassfish connection pools

• Independent development of a new engineering project information management application
• A 4 month project developing a web application used for keeping track of project work progress
• Updated a 10 year old C program for measuring stress and conditions of power line into an easy to use windows application
• Learned AutoCAD, VBScript, and SQL and applied plenty of previous knowledge/experience
• Exceeded the expectations of the employer and received excellent comments
• Developed excellent relationship with co-op workers within a new work culture

• Worked with the new AGILE development process involving "Scrums" and "Sprints"
• Uses Microsoft visual studio 2008 within a team foundation server
• Dealt with.NET framework 3.5, C#, CSS, HTML, JavaScript (JQuery) at an industrial standard level
• Frequently applied post back, call back, AJAX, OOP programming and inheritance to code
• Lead and interacted with new co-op students and helped them start on the project

• Gained insight and experience in electrical, welding, CNC programming, robotics, PLC, bench work, hydraulics, milling, and lathe
• Electrical section of the program involve exercises such as western union-splice, parallel and series wiring, 3 way light switch, and proper soldering techniques
• Conquered difficulties in transportation and time management, completed the co-op course and work placement under severe time restriction due to distance
