Developed Security Life Safety products for the Intrusion and Fire business including Smoke Detectors, CO Detectors, Acoustic Glass Break detectors, and PIRs

Marketing Research for new product definition and feasibility. Negotiate initial customer commitments and requirements. Write preliminary product specifications, and create concept design. Make final management presentation for release to design engineering. Continual resource for design engineering team including writing software for embedded controls, agency coordination.

Digital and analog design engineering dealing with audio filter circuits, wave shaping, phase shifters, power supplies, low voltage control and RF Doppler circuits. Duties also included PCB layout, new products documentation including parts lists and test procedures, and working with various agencies for product compliance approvals. Agencies groups consisted of City of LA, and UL. Responsibilities also included customer service support of new products, and the hiring and training of test personnel.

Managed customer service group, created application data for custom builds, managed the production test group, handled returns and reparis.
