Also functioned as the lead engineer and integrator for all phases of this project designed to provide Video Teleconferencing over portable satellite communications packages. • Provided Tier III/IV network and satellite communication troubleshooting for the enterprise. Configured and troubleshot Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, voice and Video Teleconference devices. Coordinated network changes and additions through a Configuration Control Board (CCB) process to ensure all stake holders are informed of the proposed changes and their impact on the organization and that all documentation is updated and current. • Designed and built three deployable satellite communications systems suites to provide Unclassified, and classified network resources, unsecure and secure voice, and video teleconferencing to the Army’s rapid-response port-opening element. The new design improved efficiency and reliability while also reducing the size, weight, and power consumption by 40%.
